A Unique Partnership
Visit Rwanda is proud to announce yet another exciting sports partnership with the new African Football League.
As a Founding Partner, the partnership aims to invite the world to experience Rwanda’s breath-taking natural beauty, rich culture, its creativity and economic transformation.
“Visit Rwanda” branding will be visible on sleeves of player jerseys, in stadiums during games, partner workshops and events, broadcast and online media channels, websites and more.
In addition, AFL will work with the Rwandan Ministry of Sports and Football Federation (FERWAFA) on youth football development initiatives, including developing a local youth league.
About the Partnership
Africa Super League
This year’s African Football League tournament tipped off in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania on 20 October at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium, with eight of Africa’s top clubs selected according to CAF rankings.
The teams include Al Ahly SC (Egypt), Enyimba FC (Nigeria), Espérance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia), Mamelodi Sundowns FC (South Africa), Atlético Petróleos de Luanda (Angola), Simba SC (Tanzania), TP Mazembe (DR Congo), and Wydad AC (Morocco).
