First held in 2022, the IRONMAN 70.3 TRIATHLON Rubavu, Rwanda is one of a series of long-distance triathlon races organised by the World Triathlon Corporation.

The race consists of a 1.9 km swim, a 90.1 km bicycle ride, and a 21.1 km marathon run, completed in that order in Rubavu District.

Visit Rwanda is a Founding Partner of the race.

This year’s race will take place on 4 August along the serene shores of Lake Kivu in Rubavu District.
