Protecting Gorillas

Volcanoes National Park

Volcanoes National Park, where the gorillas live, is a fragile ecosystem and relatively small at just 160 square kilometres. That’s why Rwanda has taken the approach of low volume in terms of visitors. The country has restricted the number of visits to the gorillas to one per day and a maximum of 8 people.
